Roverandom
Because I love Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit so much I had to read this book. . . Roverandom. Tolkien used to tell this story to his children at bed time. He later wrote it down then it was published I think after he died. It's a great book about a pet that becomes a hero and does all kinds of magical things. . . It made me want to bring out the magic in myself when I read it the first time. It's great for children who are avid readers.
